Not sure why they have this out... But it is looking great.

Blue! One of my favourite colours. Looks like a very nice figure though I hope this one doesn't become as rare as the Classic Wave 1 Sixth Doctor.

Can someone explain the origin of this costume to me?
I like it a lot more than red & yellow he wore in the TV show but was it ever actually made or was it just Photoshopped or something?

Very interesting history of it on Wikipedia:
In recent years, a blue variation of the costume has become a popular alternative. This outfit was used in the webcast Real Time as the clashing colours of the original design were tricky to animate. It also has been used on the cover of some of numerous audio drama stories from Big Finish Productions. Ironically, one of the few requirements set down by the designer of the costume Baker wore in his televised stories was that it not feature any blue at all, as this would interfere with some of the series' special effects.
A figure I never thought we would see, but I'm still pleased!

Thanks for the info guys
This release definitely falls into the category of obscure variants that adult collectors will go crazy for and like the regular 6th Doctor I forsee this one will become hard to obtain once it's been out a couple of months.

Had the overwhelming desire to be technical again (I apologise unreservedly): there are a few different versions of the blue outfit; this is the Real Time one, with no patterning and a lighter blue. BF covers have used photoshopped images - some are the original design, just in blue (eg the checked lapels on 'The Raincloud Man'), and there's also a nice dark blue version (like on 'Project: Lazarus' - a story which also makes note of the difference, and suggests the Doctor abandoned the mulicolour outfit at audio companion Evelyn's behest). Yes - I am that geeky!
I'm very suprised -in a very good way - to see this; now all we need is an Evelyn Smythe to go with him!

Would i find this hovering around in an FP? they're unlimited, how long will they keep making them? I want this, but can't put away the money.

People keep saying the colour figures aren`t limited.
When were we told this?
Just because we haven`t been told a specific number doesn`t mean they won`t be limited. I`m sure I remember reading that the number of B&W figures made would be around 25% of the colour versions. So that sounds to me like they will be limited.

That would make sense.... Say 1250 for the B&W was 25%, add another 3 1250, meaning 5000 for the Colour, I originally thought that they must be 3000, that would be good making them a little ore available than the usual SDCC exclusive.
