Like the 2nd Doctor/Cyberman set I'm probably going to keep these MOC and open the colour ones.
I'm not usually in favor of rehashing figures but I think these are decent variants that will stand out in my collection very nicely.

I'm currently rediscovering the first Doctor in my trek through the complete series - it's quite an experience, I'd never realised just how great he actually is!

Anyway, I'm really glad to see this figure. I love the B&W idea - like bcm77 I'm usually against rehashes, but this is more imaginative and quite eye-catching!

This is my new favourite figure.
I never thought I would say that about a figure I'm keeping in packaging but he is just so wonderful.

He really looks brilliant on display in the box because he's looking to the right and his eyes are looking up slightly so when ever I look at him, I can just hear him saying ”One day I shall come back...”.

Off topic but I just wish the Dalek`s eyestalk was aimed straight on and not upwards because it would just look that little bit better on display.

But other than that minor fault, this set looks so wonderful on display and The First Doctor in black and white is 100% my favourite figure now.

What a shame. Such a great figure in bad condition. You really should email Forbidden Planet about that. That is appaling. Any photos of it?

Are DIOE Daleks cursed? Because on the colour thread (Not sure who said it), someone said their bump had fallen off.

This is a discussion of the First Doctor B&W figure, not the DIOE Dalek.
