Got a few customs here (mostly repaints since I'm terrible at sculpting.) Osirus/gold bandage Mummy With the Timesquad re-realeases coming, I custom painted some of my old timesquad to make a brown suit doctor, ood sigma, cyberleader and purple clockwork droid. finally, not really a custom, but I found that the standard sontaran figures helmet fit the Timsquad one perfectly.

My favourite is the Mummy VT. It really looks like a real figure. Brilliant.
Was it hard to paint the Time Squad Figures?

Yeah it was very fiddly, the worst was The clockwork Droid , and its difficult to paint up to the edges without going over and painting something you don't want to (such as the droids cuffs).

Well you did a very good job at it. The Cyberman is especially good as well.

The gold paint works really well.

Great customs! Here's a (terrible) custom I did of the Dalek Emperor from Remberance of the Daleks.

What base did you use? I guess it could be improved a bit by just going over the paint (looks like you've used a massive brush and by the skirt it looks like the paint's running out - try using either Airfix or GW stuff)? And maybe try one in scale

I used a bubblebath Dalek as the base, and I know the paint is messy, but I'm going to go over it. I also changed the design a bit so it's not screen accurate, but it looks impressive from a distance! Oh, and I wanted it to be so it could be posed with my two Dapol figures without looking too big, but also with the CO figures without looking too small, and I think I found a fair balance.

...Dapols are smaller though? So you'd need something a similar height of the Genesis Dalek?

No, otherwise it would only be a small amount bigger than the actual Dapol figures. The Dalek Emperor was pretty big, and I made it to look big for both the Dapol and CO ranges.

You mean the Davros emperor? He's not much taller than, say, the Earthshock cyberman..

I always thought it was bigger! Ah well, it looks cool, if not screen accurate at all!

I agree just painting more carefully in thinner layers with a smaller brush would do it, but white is hard anyway, so quite good, getting there!

Good grief! For a minute I had to check the thread name again - I didn't think it was a customisation! Brilliant work - and very fast!
