The Dr Who Figures Online General Chat Thread

Postby MarthaJonesFan » Fri Mar 06, 2009 11:55 pm

Seeing as the Random Thread is clogged up with general chat instead of random things, this is just for general chat!

I think, in the future, this thread might be locked quite a few times...

But, ultimately, it's needed. Though 'what are you doing at the moment' deals with most of it, plus 'The Poster Above You' if you want to give opinions, and the Random Thread, have all been used in the past.

But isn't this more suitable for the Random Thread, what is the purpose of this thread. Aren't we becoming to similar to the Celestial Toyroom on DWF?
Hey there!

In October 2012, I am going as part of a school group to Capetown, South Africa. As a developing country, Capetown lacks basic amenities that we here in the UK, USA, Australia or wherever you are visiting from take for granted. While we are across, we will be working within the community, teaching in the classrooms, helping in peoples homes and much more!

So please, help me raise money towards the trip by visiting THE STORE section on the website, look through the different picture galleries of the items available (mostly Doctor Who!) and email me at operation.capetown@hotmail.com if you are interested in any of them! Also, you can donate to the cause by Pressing DONATE on the home page!

Thanks in advance with any donations,

Fraser Johnston

Well, this is more for General Chat, but the Random Thread is just for random and witty comments, that are just completely off the top of your head.

Doctor Who 1996 movie

I'm really annoyed at CO
They said I could send my Supreme Dalek and crucible dalek to them for repair (which was nice of them).
It took them nearly two months to send it back. They told me two weeks ago that they had not received it and told me to contact my post office which I did and sent off a lost post form. CO told me they would notify me in the meantime if they received it. They never emailed me. I finally got it yesterday. They put the daleks in the smallest box possible where as I sent it in a big box and because of this, the supreme daleks sucker is extremely bent and so is his eye stalk. His head doesn't move and they have squashed a regular dalek eyestalk into my crucible dalek (they were repairing the eyestalk for this dalek). I also sent them a letter about many things and asked many questions and all they said about the letter in their letter was "Thank you for your letter".
The Eleventh Hour - 10/10; The Beast Below - 8/10; Victory of the Daleks - 5/10; Time of Angels - 10/10; Flesh and Stone - 7.5/10; The Vampires of Venice - 9/10

Yeah - although that's a lot of what you'd get from a big company. Perhaps next time send a huge box for return postage, if just to annoy them?

I went to London on Wednesday and Thursday with a load of people from my school to see The Lion King (and to go backstage at the theatre where Oliver! currently is). It was amazing! :DDT The Lion King is just... wow! And we met one of the boys playing Oliver too! And I got myself a new boyfriend! :PDTDTDTDTDTDTDT
I'm not dead. Honest.

Oh, I'd love to see the Lion King again - it really is amazing!

And 'Oliver!', I really want to go and see that too!
