I thought this movie was OK. Certainly not the best Doctor Who I've ever seen!

I gave it a 6.

Certainly not the worst, but lots of it were a bit too "Hollywood Blockbuster". Also slapped the face of some of the predefined myths of Who such as the Doc being half human - when I watch I just pretend the Doc is just joking / trying to con the Master.

I did like Eric Roberts Master much more than John Simms in some ways - he was very menacing.

Effects were great and the Tardis was fabulous - I think I like that console room better than the new series one.

Yes, great effects! I actually found it a bit boring at points.

Its worth a look. Paul McGann is a fantastic Doctor, he just never got the chance on TV - his audio's are some of the best.

It's good, although there's not really enough story to hold it together in my opinion.

Master comes back, Doctor regenerates. That bit was good. Then a bit of tediousness and he has to save the universe. It was good though, yes, but a bit Hollywoodish yes.

More story than some of the older Doctor Who's though

i love the tvm, that console room is the best ever seen on screen without a doubt,
yes it was a bit glitzy but it had to be to exist, it knocks spots of most of series 3 of the new series.
and the master was everything he /could should have been evil, menacing, sinister, threatening not like john sims portrayal which to be honest was poop. jacobi's master was very sinister and menacing but he then changed.............darn

the tvm fell down on trying to explain everything which every regeneration story does really.

it intruduced 2 assistants(if you can call them that) a new master, a new tardis and a new doctor all in one go.

and the theme tune, has there ever been a better more thumping version has there heck. the soundtrack is one of my prize cds. i love it

and also sylvster and mcgann both were superb in the role as the doctor.


anyway i will shut up now before you all stone me.

This film is in my opinion brilliant!

It had a good plot, Eric Roberts was fantastic as the master, and it would have made a good series if it did go ahead!
