The original title for The End Of Time Part 1 was to be The Final Days of Planet Earth, and was the title when Russell T Davies teased readers of DWM with the statement the title is six words long. Later he decided to give the title The End of Time to both specials.

THE END OF TIME PART ONE, 6 words long Yes I know, but that doesn't change the fact that it was originally to be called The Final Days of Planet Earth.

How in hell did the Doctor survive that MASSIVE fall from the ship to the manor???
EDIT: In the cafe, when Wilf says "Me with that paint gun" the plopping noise is an obvious add on in ADR
