In my opinion these are some of the best cybermen. Their voices are unfailingly creepy. I remember when I bought this, I was so new to who, (and young and stupid  ) I remember being scared of wondering what I would watch, 'cause I'd heard stories off my Dad of how he was scared of the Cybermen when he was younger. I remember in fact that the scene that scared me the most was at the end of Part 1 when the test Cyberman slid out of that hatch after the buildup.

I'm just really really dissapointed that sories like the Tenth Planet (Part 4) and The Moonbase are missing. :( Is The Wheel In Space missing too?

Wheel has two out of six episodes surviving. The Moonbase has two out of four. Tenth Planet is missing only the final part out of the four which is sad. But at least we've got Tomb. :) And most of The Invasion.

Oh right thanks, interesting. You'll know a64, are those parts on the Lost in Time boxset? I know that the Tenth Planet isn't.

And true, Tomb and Invasion are two of the best. :) Plus we have the audios and Target books!

Yep (and the soundtracks to the missing ones from The Moonbase). They didn't include ones that have more than half of the episodes surviving (four of them).

I watched this last night - an amazing episode, my new favourite! The Cybermen were well used, and I loved the chemistry between the archaelogical crew. Patrick Troughton had some golden dialogue cementing his place as my favourite Doctor - basically, watch it! :D
