Planet of the SpidersJon Pertwees last story. This is an amazing classic story, one of the best from the 'Pertwee years'. I particularly love the spiders(sorry eight legs) voices as they sound very cruel and (in my opinion) just like spiders(eight legs) should. This episode also featured lots and lots of stunts, including one of somebody getting run over by a hovercraft!!! A true classic indeed!

Re: Planet of the SpidersSorry to double post, but Planet of the Spiders is now confirmed to be coming out on DVD this year... [in April - a64]
Re: Planet of the SpidersOne of the better regeneration stories as the whole subject is barely mentioned until the latter stages and the actual moment it happens is fairly brief which is a distinct contrast from the overblown foreshadowing and sentimentality we get nowadays.
A very special era ended but the one that followed was even better as the arrival of Tom Baker as well as Philip Hinchcliffe as producer and Robert Holmes taking over the script editing would produce a version of the show that is unsurpassed to this day.
