Hi all, As you probably are aware, running the forum and site costs quite a lot - and with some big plans for Timeslip especially (one episode is running on a planned budget of £50 in sets alone) etc. I'd really appreciate it if you would consider supporting the forum. But don't worry - it won't cost you a single penny - or take up any of your time! At the top of the forum (on the bar with 'User Control Panel' etc.) there are links to amazon.co.uk, ebay.co.uk, forbiddenplanet.co.uk and forbiddenplanet.com (any other sites you regularly buy through? Let me know!). Buying through these links will not cost you a penny extra. In fact there’s no difference for you whatsoever, you can just shop like normal and it goes through the usual websites. But when you click through our links we get a small percentage of whatever you then buy. I only get a little, but added together I hope it will really help fund the site. If it takes off and does bring in some money, I'll remove the Google adverts across the site - as they aren't doing almost any good anyway! So if you want to support DWFO that’s one of the best ways to do it! It really does make a big difference, and will hopefully mean further big expansion in the future! Thank you very much indeed! THANK YOU!

Oh! I wish I knew this on thursday, I was going to buy something really expensive off Ebay, but decided to keep the money for DW figures...Damn! Oh well, wait till Christmas when I'm planning on buying over £100 worth of Avatar figures And wouldn't Play be good there? I dont buy from there myself, but I've seen a lot of people here saying they do...

I'll make sure to do it whenever I'm buying, seb Could you maybe put a link for CO as well?

Seb, how do you know when someone buys using one of those links? I bought the 5th Doctor and Master pack on Saturday but I can't remember whether I used the links or not. If I didn't then I'm really sorry, it must have been all the excitement of the prospect of getting an Ainley figure at last!

Amazon.co.uk is different Amazon.com isn't it? I'm sort of a card for things like this cause most of these sites are in the UK. But if I ever order from Amazon.co.uk which I did once for the Series 2 collectors DVD boxset, I'll make sure I do it through you guys here!

Hi! Welcome to the forum! This isn't really the thread or section for that question, but you can ask in the section called "Comic Strips and Videos". People will help you there! And yes, Karen's great!

Would it work if I went through the links and then favourited the page?

Umm.. I'm not sure offhand, I'd have to investigate that.. It depends whether the end of the link in your address bar has the affiliate code in it or not really... I'll double check later when I'm on the computer, rather than the iPad! But thanks for helping!

I'd imagine it would - the links on the top go to pages with the affiliate ID in it?

Seb, thinking you should include Play here -- I use it a lot atm, and I suspect a fair few others do too.
