Timeslip: Episode 3 - The Heart of the Planet

Postby Seb » Thu Aug 28, 2008 12:57 am

Phew! I'm quite exhausted. I've just written a script for the end of the next episode and I've tried hard to make it quite emotional - it's really drained me. Won't bring you to tears, but if I can pull it off should make you feel sorry for the Doctor at least!

I'm starting filming possibly tomorrow or Friday at latest. I'm going to then film Episode 4/5 whilst editing I think, so should be out in a few weeks. Expect a poster before that though. It's going to be something a little different...

I'm also pleased to announce that because Doctor Who won't be doing anything for Children in Need this year Timeslip will, so a special episode will come out on Children in Need night! Hopefully this might inspire donations too.

Hooray! Erm... Horray! I, er, mean, Huzzah!
Sounds fab as always - the past two episodes have just left me wanting more so I'm really looking forward to this. Good luck and I hope it all goes well.
The CiN special sounds great too! And as I now have a steady income of... more than I did before, I hope to make a donation to make Timeslip even better than it already is. :)DT

Huzzah back! The CiN special will be something very different, a bit more fun. Still something that could happen - I'm not doing a 'Dimensions in Time', but not as serious as the normal episodes.

Any funding would be amazing - but please feel under no pressure!

I hope to do a lot of filming tomorrow, there are some complicated scenes so it'll take a lot of work!

However I have now filmed the ending too - as I had the script and sets ready it seemed a shame not to - and preproduction work on episodes 4&5 (two parter) is coming along nicely - some of the large special effects have been started as they'll take a lot of work!

I hope, therefore, to release the comics about each Month, I'll see what time I have upon returning to 6th form life (ironically with a lot less to do!) My evenings and weekends should be more free than they were last year so overall it should look more hopeful!

I'm going to be taking the pictures for the poster - which I will release a week or two in advance - tomorrow, so I can edit that together soon too. I've drawn up the plans for it. Something my Grandmother said recently gave me a good idea for parts 9&10(another two parter) which means I know roughly what's going to happen in every episode for the rest of this series. I'm not really thinking much about series 2, but I'm leaving options open and hopefully I'll be able to reach it!

Oh I can't wait to show you what's in store, I just hope you'll like it!

I'm not going to give anything away - but I can tell you it won't be quite the same - but similar. Still - I think you should all enjoy it! Filming should complete tomorrow, just a short scene to do, and editing has started.
