Hey there!

In October 2012, I am going as part of a school group to Capetown, South Africa. As a developing country, Capetown lacks basic amenities that we here in the UK, USA, Australia or wherever you are visiting from take for granted. While we are across, we will be working within the community, teaching in the classrooms, helping in peoples homes and much more!

So please, help me raise money towards the trip by visiting THE STORE section on the website, look through the different picture galleries of the items available (mostly Doctor Who!) and email me at operation.capetown@hotmail.com if you are interested in any of them! Also, you can donate to the cause by Pressing DONATE on the home page!

Thanks in advance with any donations,

Fraser Johnston

Ball-jointed elbows? You mean... like, swivelling and bending? Because... it does have them. The right elbow on mine was very stiff at first (stiffer than any figure joint I've encounter before) but it's loosened up now and is definitely there.

Lovely figure though... bit limited in some respects, and overall I do probably prefer Ood Sigma. I find the best way to get round the annoying brain cord is either to loop it under the right arm once - still looks a bit weird, but it sticks out less - or to hook it into the left hand or tuck it at the side of the left arm.
The brain is a bit unimpressive really, probably the weakest part of the figure... but never mind.

I think it would have been nice if it'd had ankle swivels and/or thigh swivels... so not the best, but certainly better than a lot of other figures.
I'm not dead. Honest.

I don't seem to be having much luck with paint apps lately as after problems with my Sontaran set I opened this figure to discover several scratches on one of the arms so I'll probably let my niece have it and buy another one for myself.
That aside the figure looks decent, the Ood are my favourite of the new alien races that have appeared since the show returned so I'm pleased that 2 great new figures have been released.

I love this figure. I can't get the Brain in it's hole (It's the same with the Series 2 Orb)

No not the Vespiform wave - Play seem to be clearing out the old S4 figures cheaply.

I just got one of these Natural Ood's off of Play.com for £2.50 and I must say, even though it isn't Vespiform wave, it is well worth the money! Flaws are: Great opportunity for swivelling arms, missed, and that the brain is too small. Other than that, the figure is really good! ;)DT

The elbows are ball-jointed, it's just they are stiff.

I have 3 of these, 1 from Wave 1, 1 from Wave 1.5 that my friend bought me, and 1 from the Vespiform wave. I just dpn't see why a pegwarmer like this comes with a rubbish part of the BAF. Some people may not need the stand, they could just get some string and hang it from the ceiling or from the top of their display shelves, and little kids would have it flying, so wouldn't need the stand.
