Where to start with these Bl**dy Sontarans...

Articulation that's too slack.
Articulation that's too stiff.
Helmets that won't stay on.
Weapons that won't hold - not helped by the fact that I can't budge the elbows.
Feet that fall off.
Et cetera.

They look very, very rushed to me and not much TLC has gone into them - I'm disappointed with them.

The only saving grace of this set is the Donna figure - well built and less articulation makes for a stronger figure. I don't like loads of articulation (maybe why I like the Chip figure a lot), as I only display the toys. I sometimes get them down if my young brother or sister want a look, but that's it.

EDIT: Saying that, now that I've shelved them they look glorious together.

I got Skorr and a Trooper today in Asda, £4 each. Good deal, I ended up getting 5 figures including these but I may still get the boxset.

Just like the VOTD set, I spent three months looking for this. Donna is very good, I even think she looks good in her winter coat. She only works in Planet of the Ood and The Sontaran Stratagem/The poision sky. I love the Sontarans, although I don't think we needed that many. Staal should not have been exclusive and a clone Martha should have been! I would also have loved a Doctor in blue suit too (I need him for a custom). Now. Sontarans. Staal's helmet won't stay on. Skorr is perfect, capturing the cheesy grin he had in the two-parter. And the trooper! WOW! For some reason, I like the helmeted version of aliens better than the Un-helmeted.
