I can't help thinking that articulation might spoil them... Skorr doesn't look as good IMO (still fantastic) but the face isn't perfect. Loads of accessories - apparently Skorr and Staal both come with removable helmets too! Can't wait fot this...
Exactly, exactly exactly...
Removable helmets would mean an instant army! (well, two soldiers at least)

If they really have removable helmets then I am very impressed. Also this will be the first time that all 4 of a boxset have been new figures... unless they release some on cards before this release. (Hope not - it will be a much cheaper way of getting them!)

I know it's early but... spelling? (fixed)
They're not really new figures... if you look at the DiM set the three series 3 exclusive ones were released on card before it was out. They will be on card then, I bet... Donna, Sontaran and Staal.

Thanks for fixing the spelling, I obviously typed in a rush & forgot to check.
As you say they may not turn out to be exclusives in this set, but they might be. Either way its worth hanging on for the boxset - unlews you are a MOC collector of cource. (One of the figures is bound to be - probably one of the generals I suppose.)

£25?
Bargain. That's a saving of... £7, meaning that it would be slightly cheaper to buy 3 of them separately (minus postage etc) but there's a £1 free figure in there too.

After seeing the bigger image - thanks to a64 [or the thread in the News section] - I now think that Skorr looks a bit goofy and Staal doesn't look right also the sontarans armour has a certain weird look about it as well as the gun and cane - it could be the light or the picture, hope it is - Donna looks good but she her coat/jacket looks abit to big and bulky and does look like the one from Planet of the Ood.

I'm not sure whether to get this or the time crash set, which would you choose?

Difficult... Of course you can get some/variations of the figures contained in both on their own. Where will you get the Timecrash set from now though? It's sold out with CO.

Oh well, I can just make celery with plasticine and repaint a spare doctor from VotD with purple paint. Even so, I think I will get this and a couple of Sontaran Troopers to make an army, and maybe put some temporarily on a classic shelf!
