The 10th Doctor (The End of Time)

Postby Dalek Thay » Wed Jan 06, 2010 9:16 pm

Why no thread for this? Maybe because we have no confirmation whether it is definatley, 100% new? Well, lets just hope character are going to be good to us. :)DT

Looks to have a new headsculpt, and maybe a body. The picture from Radio Times just used the old suited Doctor prototype picture.

Are these going to be in a set? Or each? Seems a bit silly having four figures each... unless there's a collect and build (dunno what it would be of).

They could have done a BAF Immortality Gate. Not actually a figure but I would of loved it. But no, from what I`ve heard it`s a wave with no BAF. Shame as it would of made a lovely set (and would have been cheaper too!).
The Eleventh Hour - 10/10; The Beast Below - 8/10; Victory of the Daleks - 5/10; Time of Angels - 10/10; Flesh and Stone - 7.5/10; The Vampires of Venice - 9/10

Maybe they are doing a beaten up looking Doctor? And then I would of thought it would be the Master with his hoody, jeans and white hair.

Would seriously love to see a Bernard Cribbens figure. That would be cool, with Wilf in his red woolly hat. Could have the revolver accessory come with that one, or possibly with the Doctor.

Not sure if they would but they could make the spiky-headed cactus aliens as well (I can't remember their names), or maybe the Time Lords, and then I think that would round off those gift box sets you can by.

Would be nice to have an Immortality Gate as well though, like they did with the Satan Pit Elevator set.

First off, welcome to the forum!
And second off, this wave contains the very beaten up Doctor which you mention, as with the master (and Dalton timelord).
If you flick through this forum you'll probably find the threads, along with pics :winkDT:
And the green aliens = the Vinvocci :)DT

Like the detail and the new head sculpt :)DT

But, it would've been nice to see swivel joints near the elbows and knees.

Love it, even though it looks like he's wearing a toupe. Or is that just on mine?

A good looking figure, but let down by the 4 year old body on the (highly likely) last David Tennant carded figure.

My mum was going to buy me this in Argos, and I was going to get the Regeneration Matt, but I said I'd rather have her buy me the regeneration Matt and not get the Injured Tennant.

A really great looking figure, even if the base is old. The only let down for me is the slightly too happy expression! He's bleeding!

lovely figure indeed, great hair I thought it was going to be stuch straight to the forehead like on previous tennants but it didn't!
One problem it's a lovely sculpt that is bruised, and the tie doesn't match the MS one, so I hope the 10/11 doctors set has this head sculpt not bruised and the MS suit and tie

10/10
very good with a few negatives which are made up for by the lovely head sculpt
