If anybody is in Edinburgh on the 14th, 16th or 17th of August, and have about 45 minutes to spare at 9:30 at night, please do come and see me perform my first principal role. The show is called "The Zoo" and was jointly written by Sir Arthur Sullivan (Gilbert's accomplice for the Gilbert and Sullivan Operas) and Bob Rowe. Synopsis: Before there was a ‘Trial’, Arthur Sullivan went to ‘The Zoo’. It's panda-monium in a tale of love, baked goods and suicide. This rollicking comic operetta looks at the lengths people can go for love: Carboy is trying to hang himself in the belief that he has poisoned his love Laetitia, whilst Thomas is attempting to eat everything in the refreshment stall to prove his love for Eliza. This new company of Fringe veterans will show you what happens when an incognito Duke comes to Edinburgh to feed the bears.
I play Carboy in this. The Venue is: Paradise in the Vault (or venue 29) 11 Merchant Street, EH1 2QD This show is part of the Edinburgh Fringe festival, so not only is it my acting debut, but my first principal role in a show that has been widely advertised! I honestly cannot wait for this and if you did want to come along I would LOVE to see you there! ticket prices are as follows: Full Price £ 7.00 Concession £ 5.00 let me know if you are interested sorry bout the duplicate threads, my computer is playing up!

After 3 nights of being chorus, with 7 more as chorus and 3 as Carboy to go, I feel the chorus part is pretty much now in the bag. Mishaps: Monday Night: there was one bit I went over to someone holding a basket of goodies (knitted) and I took a chocolate bar and went off the back of the stage, when I was meant to go up the stairs! Tuesday Night: My braces on my costume unclipped and whacked me on the back, was painful! at least this happened backstage so there was time to sort it! Wednesday Night: NO MISHAPS I am really enjoying myself right now!

Nothing can ever, ever beat the adreneline of going on stage and doing your stuff. I've not felt it for a few years, but its great.
Oh dear, I've lost my signature again.

A few weeks ago, the show I was in, I accidently brought a fish and chips prop on with me, knocked over a stool and a few other fluffs too! I'm sure you'll be fine - Goodluck and enjoy!
