Halo: Steel Hawks- Part 1 NOW UP!!

A none Doctor Who comic I began working on today. It revolves around the plot of the X-Box game Halo. I cannot put it up tonight because it requires finishing and then the final editing stage can begin.

The plot:
The story is told from the view point of a veteran ODST (much like the one featured in the Halo 3: Believe campaign), telling the story of his very first mission as an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper- a top secret mission with a crack squad of Spartans known only as the Steel Hawks. But his mission goes horribly wrong...

I will try and get the final piece completed and online by the end of the week, but I can't promise anything because of the weather at the moment. I can tell you though that it is shot mainly on location (at Heysham Beach), and will feature the Dr Constantine figure fro Doctor Who as the veteran. I can try and get the poster up for tommorrow.

If any of the Moderators have any problems with this comic being in this section, please could they move it to the appropriate section, because I have no idea how to move a thread.

If this isn't a doctor who comic, I think it should go in either The Lounge of TV and Film, but I don't know?

Sorry there have been some delays, but I haven't been able to get out to Heysham Beach (where it is shot) of late, but what I do have I am currently editing and will try and get the first part of it set up within a few days or so. Ps; what do you guys think of the poster? I'd love some feedback, positive or negative. Thanks!

Well, I've finally managed to edit the first part of the comic- it's shot in a faux documentary style, so there's no credits to add a hint of realism. Please excuse any mistakes, because there'll probably be some, but I'm still getting used to the new Photoshop (Elements 7- it's a comic-makers dream). Hope you enjoy, and all comments- critical, praising, good or bad- are all welcome. Oh, and I put it on a Flickr Slideshow, like my first comic.

Apologies about the double-post, but I just wanted to add that I am currently working on the second part of the comic- it will have more action, and more tragedy, and I can confirm that it will no longer be set on Heysham Beach (or 'Unnamed planet'), but will instead be set on a Covenant ship in planetal orbit. I won't reveal how, but it will give me an exciting new chance to use sets I printed from the internet.

I like the framing device of using the aged Doctor figure. Lovely photographs - better when they're full-size on Flickr - and it shows off the figures well. I know extremely little about Halo though!

Aah- I promise I'll try and get it on a different medium- like traditional comics- but I'm still looking into how to do it.

I didn't say Powerpoint, I said a different medium. Besides, it will be a bit of a hoo-hah to re-edit the entire comic just to suit one person. I'll see what I can do once I've finished the second part, but I'm making no promises. If that's not good enough, then there's nothing I can do...
