The trailer made it seem a bit boring in my opinion. But we will see!

From what RT says, this should be great. Trailer looked a bit boring, and apparently the monster and action are a letdown, but the 'human factor' is apparently spot on.

it looks like rhys turns bad in this one
Hey there!

In October 2012, I am going as part of a school group to Capetown, South Africa. As a developing country, Capetown lacks basic amenities that we here in the UK, USA, Australia or wherever you are visiting from take for granted. While we are across, we will be working within the community, teaching in the classrooms, helping in peoples homes and much more!

So please, help me raise money towards the trip by visiting THE STORE section on the website, look through the different picture galleries of the items available (mostly Doctor Who!) and email me at operation.capetown@hotmail.com if you are interested in any of them! Also, you can donate to the cause by Pressing DONATE on the home page!

Thanks in advance with any donations,

Fraser Johnston

He doesn't turn bad, just... finds out about them.

At least we know they're not going to kill Rhys off or just forget about him... yet!

And the episode's tonight! Woo!

IMO, it is just a pity that...

1. This episode clashes with the football
2. I dont have Sky+
3. My VHS is in the loft

I am looking forward to this one, but will probably be avoiding this thread till I've caught up on either Virgin On Demand or by the BBC I-Player.

Not 100% amazing, but a good episode overall. I'm so pleased that Rhys is a better character now - the only thing I thought is that he could have been a tiny bit more 'geeky'. He's supposed to be a sci-fi fan (in the books he actually requested The Imperial March as their Wedding March!), and even though Torchwood would be weird for him to see I wanted him to make some more references or in jokes...

Apart from that tiny niggle, very good.

This episode was good. Not the best though. 4/5 for me.

Average, yes, but okay. No overly bad bits, the CGI was of a good standard and the action was well portrayed, the acting good. No overly good bits much either sadly.
It's going to get even better though! 8)DT

I liked it. It was a good change of pace to see an alien not trying to take over/destroy the world. And this one feels very believable, due to the fact that not all aliens out there are out for themselves. Plus it was good to see Jack have a strong feeling for this unfortunate creature, especially when he saw what the men were doing to it, and after Owen had to euthanize it.

I had a lump in my throat from this one, I wanted to see that big fellow get freed and sent back home.

Just rewatching it and it was great. Jacks alien meat joke made me cringe, him going "This is uite homo erotic" made me cry with laughter, his care for the alien whale and Rhys holding his own in the Hub, it was class.
