Dalek Battlepacks

Postby Efun » Mon May 02, 2011 7:21 pm

Started thread because I see the old one was locked with minimal discussion.

I thought these were great..but there were a lot of stories about them not working, etc, which I remember having when I bought my first set. We sent it back and got a working one afterwards. Both mine had the Rose inside.
Other variations on sets:

- 2x Daleks w/ 9th Doctor (Burgundy Shirt)
- 2x Daleks w/ Rose (Bad Variant)
- 2x Daleks w/ Cyberman
- 2x Daleks w/ Cyberleader (Removable Chest & EMP Device)
- 2x Daleks w/ Tenth Doctor (Sonic Screwdriver)

I also know that with the Daleks there were two kinds: One variant had 3 Wheels, and another (later) variant had Ball-bearings where the frontmost wheel had been.

The Dalek Supreme in this set is my favorurite of all the 5'' Daleks produced. I never did know why they never used him in an episode. I love the 'standard' Daleks too- have four of them and two Supremes. :D Because they were the first Daleks I got though, this may be a bias.
4x Gold RC's:

3x Supremes (2 Customised):

They've been customised to resemble the 'Dalek Prime' (How I believed he might have looked) and a 'Dalek Pilot' or 'Saucer Commander'.

There is no Cyberman one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My favourite is the Cyber Leader one really. Cause it's the only one I've got.

Yeah - I remember desperately wanting a Leader battlepack and seeing a few shops which had cybermen ones (I remember running up to them and seeing they didn't have black handlebars or EMP thingies)?

Weird. I've never seen one, and neither Google nor eBay brought up any Cyberman ones...

I don't know...I never submitted it twice. Not sure what's gone on. [Fixed it now - a64]

And MJF, in the shops is where I saw a Cyberman set too. I only ever saw it in FP, but when they had it in...they had loads. If you try Amazon there appear to be some on sale there too.

I recall us having this discussion years ago.

I certainley don't remember a Cyberman one, but that means nothing in my area. But I certainly can't think of somebody saying that they got one on any forum either. :?

Very odd.

Yeah there is a cyberman one, Amazons got some. Thats quite interesting as when I got my Dalek battlepack from Argos they only had the Cyberleader one and I had previously heard about the Ninth Doctor, Rose and Tenth Doctor ones but never a Cyberman one.

That picture is a Cyberleader though. Black handlebars, pointed finger, etc.
