I can imagine the final price for that one being quite high, 3D printing is quite expensive - I'd love to get one though!

Yeah, I hate to think what the final price will be! At least the money will go to charity. Hopefully CO will realease a cheaper one!

Yeah, I remembering seeing that Quark... very impressive!

3D printing probably isn't - or won't be eventually - that expensive, compared to normal. The printer itself might be though. :P

Yeah, that's pretty much what I meant. Still, it'd be expensive to get things for the printer, yes? Plastic and some such. Is that a similar process to how CO would make things like the Playsets?

My own work in progress custom -

Upload them to the internet (a site like Photobucket), then put the picture URL in the post, highlight it and click the Img button above the post. :)

I was swapping the various alternate heads on a couple of my Hot Toys Iron Man figures and had an idea,

2nd Doctor in the Mark II,

4th Doctor in the Mark IV,

Ha, that looks pretty cool. :D Where are those heads from, don't recognise them?

On a separate note - What's the bets that, within a few weeks of Churchill being on sale, Dorium customs will start to appear? :P

Glad you like them!

The Troughton head is a custom from here,
http://warriorsgateproductions.weebly.com/

The guy that set up WGP is a good friend and they have some great stuff in the works including a Leela head commissioned by me which will have real hair.

The Tom Baker head was cast from the SixteenTwelve statue and made to fit 1:6 scale bodies.
( Disclaimer: No money changed hands for these and the mold was destroyed after less than 10 casts were made. ) .....I had to put that as the CO ass kissers on certain other sites tried giving me some crap for alleged dodgy behaviour.

Both heads were painted by my friend Joey in Canada who is a magician with an airbrush, he should be painting for Hot Toys.

As Big Chief are turning out to be Big Fail, the custom route is the only realistic option for 1:6 Classic characters and although it can sometimes be frustrating waiting for all the bits and pieces to be made the results are usually worth it.

Regarding the Churchill figure I have no idea who Dorium is so I can't really comment.
