These are so cool! Sorry for the outburst, but they really do get across the feeling of an army which they had on the show. I bought two of these and the Captain, and really don’t regret it! They look superb set out in a formation!

The arm is very detailed, and has a very clever point of articulation at the elbow - not only does it allow you to move the arm up and down, but also from side to side, without looking odd! The hand turns a full 360degrees, and is in a good holding position for the gun. The other hand can hold the accessories well, and I’ll talk about them properly in a second.

The ‘skirt’ has been made very well, and the legs work well and have a huge amount of detail on them. Sadly, they cannot sit down, but if they could it would ruin the realism.

The accessories let the set down slightly. The holster for the gun is removable, which is a nice touch, but really isn’t very well designed. It doesn’t take much at all for the gun to slip out the back of it’s holster, and I can see a lot of guns getting lost. The other two accessories are nice touches, but the little bit which pokes out can really look odd when they hold them. Still, it’s better than Lilith’s crystal which is very difficult to hold!

The only other thing which lets this figure down is the detail! Oddly, because they have recreated the Judoon in such detail, it has become very odd looking. As it is now much smaller, the bright red instruments clash terribly with the otherwise entirely silver and black costume and look very strange! It’s a real shame, because otherwise this is a lovely figure.

Basically - if you liked the Judoon in the episode, you will love these. If you disliked them, you will probably dislike these. They are so much like their television counterparts that you are bound to have the same feelings for both of them.
