Before reading this review you should know that no matter what I say, there are people who do really like the Lilith figure. Unfortunately I’m not one of them!
To me this figure, good as it may be in some respects, just has too many flaws to be great. For one, the hair looks so wig-like it can’t be missed - it’s so obviously plastic stuck onto a bald head that it really detracts from the figure.
The clothes do have some nice detail to them I’ll admit, but the paintwork really lets this down and again makes the detail turn into just a lot of lines carved into plastic because it’s got no shading of any nature. The arms have only limited movement and the detail on bits hanging down in this case doesn’t actually help because if you move the arm either way more than a few millimetres it looks odd as the flaps don’t seem to be affected by gravity!
I haven’t even started on one or two other points yet, such as the giant holes that appear below the armpit and the weird slits down the dress that look very out of place, but I must mention the legs. They are thin and have no detail and, tied in with the fact that you can hardly reach them because of the clothes, you get the inevitable problem of the figure being unstable.
However, I must also look on the positive side. The head (despite being a little too ‘upside-down-egg-shaped’ to me) is nicely detailed, though likeness to the character can be debated a little!
The globe accessory is a nice addition, and although some complain of it not sitting well in her hand, I actually find it’s ok once you get there. It would be appreciated if she could actually hold it though, rather than just balancing it on top of her hand!
So to conclude, in my opinion she’s one of the weaker figures. However the arguments on both sides are strong so I am forced to end by saying that really it’s up to you and whilst this is my opinion, and many other people’s, you can make up your own if you get her!
