EXTERMINATE! Ever since the first figures were brought out it has been a mystery to me why they have not brought out a Dalek! Slitheen, Sycorax, and Moxx of Balhoon’s are all fine, but it just seemed mad not to use such an iconic character! Now the light has been seen, and you no longer need to buy breakable remote control battlepacks to have a Dalek army!

The Dalek with mutant revealed is great! It looks just right, moves well, and if you have read my review of the Cult of Skaro and Genesis Ark set, and know of my ‘niggle’ that Daleks are too light, the mutant adds some weight to this figure, and although only slightly different, it makes all the difference!

The one sad point about this is that you just can’t see the mutant enough! To avoid large cracks in the shell of the Dalek (and it really is very difficult to see that the Dalek comes apart, a good point!) only the gun area comes off. This means a very small place for the mutant, and it gets quite hidden away inside the shell!

One more point is that the gun arm and sucker stick are a little constricted in movement, and it would have been good if they eye could look down a little bit more!

Still, the mutant is good, the casing is great, and overall it’s a real must have!
