As with Cassandra (clean)
The figure of Lady Cassandra O'Brien Dot Delta Seventeen has been released in three different versions - a clean one, representing her appearance in ‘The End of the World’, and a ‘dirty’ version, as she appeared in ‘New Earth’, and a destroyed version from ‘New Earth’ as well (see separate review). The second figure was released with ‘Chip’, the helper in her second appearance (see separate review).
Unfortunately, the second release feels very unnecessary, and whilst it was a good idea for them to repaint her to avoid a complete feeling of unneeded expenses, in her second appearance on television she was a lot more battered than her figure counterpart, and thus it is painfully obvious how sneaky Character Options were being with her release.
However, the figure herself. It has to be one of the most unusual released to date for any range surely! The whole character of Cassandra was brilliantly absurd in the original episode, and the figure gets away with this in just the same way! For this reason alone, she is an essential purchase for any collector! She does have good movement, and generally looks a lot like she did in her episodes.
Therefore, a mixed review, but overall a fun figure!
