Well, it had to be done! This is the most obvious figure for Character to make, and they had to match a very high expectation with it! If someone was looking to get just one figure, chances are high that it would be the Doctor, a Dalek, or a Cyberman. Therefore, it was important that this was a good figure, so that you would think “This is great, I might get some more”. But does it achieve this?

Well, in most respects, yes it does. It’s a good figure that looks brilliant when stood up, looks good among others as an army, and basically captures the ambience of the TV Cybermen perfectly. So where’s the flaw? Well, it’s posability that lets the side down.

The Cybermen has limited movement, and sadly cannot even sit down. This is mainly because of the scale of the figure, and you would need to loose some detail to achieve the sitting position. However, you can imagine fans buying a Cyberman to sit on a bookshelf or desk, only to find it can’t sit! It’s a bit of a disappointment to be honest.

However, taking another view point, in many ways it’s a good thing! If this is the only problem (and don’t forget, it does look good standing up), then that must prove what a good figure it is!

Overall, a must have for ‘Who-fan’, and a triumph in many ways for Character!
