As with other Krillitane

The Krillitane is a figure that really divides collectors. Some love it for its feel and the way you can move it, others hate it for its ‘boring’ look and poor sculpt of the hands. I myself am in the middle. Whilst I don’t consider it the best figure, I certainly don’t consider it to be anywhere near the worst.

It has good posability in my opinion, and can look quite menacing, though I can also see what people mean when they say that they dislike it. In some ways it does look awkward and unreal, especially the hands that are very obvious and not actually that great.

The wings do look nice though - I really appreciate the transparent nature of them, although they are quite loosely fitted and will fall out with even the smallest amount of flapping - so fail as a toy in some ways there.

The original mouth also leaves a little to be desired with it looking rather fake and a bit gormless. The special Krillitane released as part of the 10 figure set overcomes this with a closed mouth, though I do feel that it’s bad of them to release an exclusive figure with 10 other ones that are already available.

Still, one of the reasons that they are liked so much is how they feel. They have great texture and the ball joints help to really create a figure that you can fiddle with in your hands for ages just to pass the time.

Therefore I would recommend this figure to anyone, if only to see what you personally think of it!
