What we have to remember is that alongside the ‘disco dancing’ 9th Doctor figure, this was the first one ever to be released. As such, we can’t expect miracles.

However, we could have expected more than this!

The head sculpt isn’t actually that bad, bearing quite a good resemblance to Billie, but the hair is a bit of a let down. It’s so obviously fake and stuck on that it doesn’t look quite right (however, in my opinion, it’s better than Lillith’s hair!). It’s also quite badly stuck on, so easily removed. However I certainly don’t recommend this, as there’s something quite hideous beneath!

The torso area is well modelled, and despite having terrible articulation and looking like she’s about to punch someone, the arms are not that bad either. Less can be said about the legs however, as they can only stand in one pose which really drags down the posability. As seen on my figure, the original shoes were different colours too - if only I’d kept it in its box!

So this really isn’t a great figure by any stretch of the imagination, but it was a good start and actually has a nice feel to it, so a lot of play value. Definitely made at a time when the main target was children rather than collectors. How times change!
