I think this figure is exceptionally good. Not only is it good in figure terms but the fact that they’ve managed to make such a good figure out of a small chap is amazing.

The sculpt here is nothing short of beautiful. The details in his clothing with the folds etc. are wonderful. The paintwork could perhaps have slightly more shading, but it’s not really a problem because the costume itself is so varied.

The face has real character in it and looks exactly as he did on TV. The paintwork here is also marvellous and so detailed on the little spots.

The ‘gun’ is a excellent addition, I’m not sure if it was all black originally but it could do with a bit of paint whatever it looked like. The holster sadly looks a bit out of place as it’s so bulky and seems to lack detail by comparison but it’s not too bad. The hands create a nice contrast in this area, being so great, so I don’t think there’s much of a problem here.

The only possible changes I would make would be a bit of articulation both at the feet and thighs. It’s a small figure so needs all the movement it can get.

Still this is a wonderful figure both for Sarah Jane Adventures and Doctor Who fans.
