Name Sarah Jane (in Red Top)
Posability 9.5
Sitting 10
Likeness to character 9
Overall 9

Three similar versions of Sarah Jane were released in the figure range. I will review each separately as they do all have slight differences.

However the same thing between each is the head, legs and translator. The fact they all come with the translator is nice, but I would have liked to have seen something a bit different – sonic lipstick maybe?

The legs move well and look very good. They have nice articulation at the thies, it’s just a shame they couldn’t have it at the top of the boots too to give the change for some really realistic posability.

The head is better than the School Reunion version, but I still don’t quite think it’s Liz Sladen. The hair is a bit too ‘big’ and the face looks better from side on. Still, it’s close enough to be good and doesn’t detract that much.

The brown waistcoat looks very good on her, I love the way the sculpt isn’t just a boring symetrical one but they’ve made it look more realistic. The shirt also seems to be made of a different type of plastic, it’s more flexible, but this gives a good feel and allows some good movement of the arms. Her cuffs and hands also look very good.

I think this is actually my favourite Sarah Jane figure so far, I think it’s the one that’s most like her, so I would certainly recommend this figure to anyone.
