I think this is such a great figure. Not only is it finally a variation of the Slitheen (please release one with a new mouth!) but it also looks great.

The facial expression is a little bizarre, but it’s a good representation of how the Baby Slitheen did actually look in the episodes. I especially like the eyes – they’re just black circle shapes but they have a lot of soul in them and really look realistic.

Of course the size was always a bit of a problem for a figure – it’s so small – but they’ve managed very well. It’s obvious that a lot of thought has gone into this figure and they’ve done the best they could.

Despite this on close inspection the neck does look a bit odd and he can’t sit all that brilliantly. However, as I say, this is unavoidable and not that much of a problem. His arms are really well detailed, it’s a beautiful sculpt, and the legs are too. I love the paintwork on this figure as it really does have some good shading.

Overall I think they’ve done a great job and this is a good figure.
