Well this just had to be made didn’t it? After the wonderful ‘neutral’ Weeping Angel a Screaming Angel was a must have wasn’t it?
This has all the same good points as the previous angel, so I do advise you to read that review as well.
The obvious difference here is the screaming face, and that is so fantastic! The sculpting job is brilliant and it does look terrifying. The only problem I have is that it’s facing down and, unlike with the original angel, you can’t move the face up. The angel is already ‘vertically challenged’ so this can be slightly annoying unless they’re battling your Sontarans or Space Pig!
The other change is the hand, and here they have used the ‘claws’ the angels sometimes had. These also look great and add a lot to the figure.
One change I might have liked to see? If they had moved the knee over, just so they don’t all look quite so similar I think it could have been a nice touch, but this is nitpicking.
Basically you want as many Angels as you can get, I have two neutral and two screaming ones for my TARDIS, and now you can get some real variations going.
