Torchwood is the highly popular spinoff of Doctor Who. Having just completed the 3rd series, Children of Earth, these Torchwood toys are really intended as collectable action figures.
The Torchwood action figures are produced
independently by Scificollector, with whom this site has a close
relationship so gets all the news plus exclusives from time to time.
Wave 1 of the Torchwood action figures was an absolutely huge success, far exceding the
expectations of those who doubted a smaller company could produce good
figures. Wave 2 beat even that with many saying the Torchwood action figures were now better than the Doctor Who action figures. Wave 3
could follow if Wave 2 does well enough, and in light of the successes of the Torchwood action figure range so far I’m
hopeful for more. |
